De Zandhegge is a comfortable, family site under private ownership on the edge of the woodlands of the Veluwe. Close to the site are moors and the IJsselvallei for beautiful tours. The site has 225 pitches, of which 52 are for tourers. Most of the touring pitches are in a separate field to the front of the site in the shade of mature trees, with more to the rear. Pitching is on grassy fields approached by gravel access lanes and all pitches have 16A electricity, water, waste water and cable. Access to some pitches may prove difficult for large units.

The site has a large, rectangular, open-air pool (20x10 m), heated by an ingenious system from the roof of the café, and there is a paddling pool with slide and flume. New restaurant and a large indoor play area opened in 2013. Almost daily in season the site organises some sort of activity for youngsters and adults. A new toilet block is equipped with a special, attractively decorated children’s section.

A new, central block and a second smaller block to the back provide toilets, washbasins (open style and in cabins) and preset, hot showers (SEP-key). Directions to Camping De Zandhegge

From the A50 take exit 27 (Epe/Nunspeet) and turn left towards Emst at the traffic lights. Take first right (site is signed) and follow to the end.
