Camping de la Lône is in Saint-Pierre-de-Bœuf, Loire, located by a river and by a lake. It is just across the lake from the wonderful Espace Eaux Vives de Pilat where you can get a brilliant water sport experience in the sun including wild water sailing, kayaking and rafting. Severine, the manager is fantastic at welcoming guests and dealing with queries. The site lies beside a little river with a grassy bank and shingle beach where you can lie in the sun or shade and cool off in the crisp clear water. If you paddle on your stand-up paddle board or kayak down the river, you get to the lake where you can spend your days floating around. The other side of the lake is the white-water site where everyone has so much fun. The site is tranquil, surrounded by green and water and a great place to stay. The site offers various cycle routes, outdoor swimming pool, toddlers' pool, snack bar, pizzeria and Wi-Fi point. The site has 93 grass/hardstanding pitches of which 67 are for touring units and have 6amp hook-up point. There are also 5 bungalows available to hire.

Location

From the A7/E15 take junction 12 Chanas. At the end of the slip road is a roundabout junction with the N7. From the roundabout take the D1082 and at the next roundabout join the D86 and D1086. On the north edge of St. Pierre-de-Boeuf turn right onto Avenue du Rhône and the site is off this road. An alternative route leaves the N7 to follow the left bank of the River Rhone and is narrow.
