Previously known as Camping les Halles, this is a very friendly site with 78 touring pitches in an area of 1.8 hectares. Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy their passion from a waterside pitch. 12 fully-equipped mobile homes are also available for hire. You can enjoy a pleasant stay in the heart of nature, while still close to the town centre. The site lies on the banks of the River Loire in the town of Decize. It is located between the Aquatic Sports Centre and the leisure park, which has a large play area, electric boat hire, a mini-golf course and the municipal swimming pool.

The nearby Nivernais Canal and Loire Lateral Canal (following the EuroVelo 6 cycling route) are also an invitation to investigate the area. The site is also very popular with cyclists as the ‘Promenade des Halles’, a tree-lined avenue that starts out from the site; it is specially designed for cyclists and meets up with Nivernais Canal.

As well as the swimming pool you can bathe naturally at Grenetier pond 10km away. Visit this wooded area with lots of flowers between May and the end of August, to take advantage of the recreational water activities or just to spend magical moments with your family. The site has a jetty with boats; electric and pedalo boats; a snack bar with a shaded terrace; three large play areas for children, including one with large-scale water games; a roundabout; and a very amusing mini-golf course.

Directions to Camping de Decize

From the North follow A6/E15 motorway to junction 29, Now join E72/N79 towards D981 and take Decize direction. From the South take A75 and A71/E11 motorway to junction 11. Now join D300 and D951 towards Decize.
