Camping De Breede is a small, family-friendly campsite in a wooded area near Warffum, Groningen, Netherlands. This campsite is entirely noise-free, so you can relax and enjoy a peaceful and quiet holiday here. On-site, 38 touring pitches with electric hook-up points are available and spaciously laid out across multiple fields.
Playgrounds are scattered amongst the fields to keep the children busy, while go-karts and bikes are also on hand. There is also a separate field with a multisport court, a football pitch, and table tennis. Other facilities include a large outdoor swimming pool with two diving boards and a 25mtr pool area. Playmats and inflatables are available to borrow if the children want more to entertain them. A large sunbathing lawn is located right next to the swimming pool. For those who would like a game of tennis, you don't have to travel far. The tennis courts are located right next to the pool, and rackets can be hired from reception. During the summer months, entertainment is organised spontaneously during the day and evening. In addition, a snack bar is available during high season, with indoor seating and a terrace. It offers cold drinks, ice creams, and quick bites to eat, such as chips.
Winsum is a charming town located just a short distance from the campsite. The town centre is a great place to wander around and soak up the atmosphere. There are also a number of interesting shops and restaurants as well as the notable 13th-century church, the Martinikerk.
The nearest beach to Winsum is about a 30-minute drive away. This area's beaches are known for their beautiful white sand and shallow waters, making them perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and building sandcastles.
