Camping Carpe Diem is situated in the Nagold Valley, near the medieval town of Stadt Wildberg is surrounded by extensive meadows, forests, clear brooks and rivulets. You will find the site in the middle of the northern Black Forest, to be an ideal starting point for many delightful and cultural outings. It has ninety pitches each provided with electricity and water connections. There is also a swimming pool, children’s play area and a snack bar with typical German food. There is a cycle track of approx. one hundred kilometres, ideal for your family to go on a skating or cycling adventure. Caravan, mobile home and log cabin available to hire. The site has 130 touring pitches with electric hook-up 16amp, 20 of which are seasonal. There are also mobile homes and log cabins available to hire.

Local attractions include Wildberg a medieval town which is built against the mountain, with small alleys and an old castle ruin. Calw has many timbered houses. In Calw-Hirsau is the former monastery St. Peter and Paul. This was one of the most important German monasteries and is well worth a visit. Nagold is a nice town with shops and terraces. On Saturday there is also a weekly market. Altensteig is an authentic town with historical centre and close by you will find trout ponds.

Directions to Camping Carpe Diem

From Stuttgart take the A381 and A81 to exit 27 Gärtringen. Now join B14 towards Herrenberg and B296 towards Nagold. In Nagold turn right onto B463 and follow this road in the direction of Wildberg. In Wildberg turn right to cross river bridge. Then turn right again to join Martinsholzle and the site is on this road.
