A pleasant site for a night stop or a longer stay, conveniently situated just off the A2/E25 motorway (Utrecht - ’s Hertogenbosch, exit 14). It is a large site with 154 pitches for tourers on well cared for, grassy lawns (all with 10A electricity and drainage), in addition to its 400 well established permanent units. The touring pitches are in four distinct areas with many situated around the edges of an attractive lake with a large sandy beach and pleasant views. For families with young children there are various areas away from the water with play areas, as well as many facilities for older children.

An area of the lake is cordoned off for swimming with a slide and diving boards and it is also suitable for water skiing and wakeboarding. The lake is also used by the public. Gelderland is the part of the Netherlands famous for fruit growing, situated between the rivers Maas and Waal and worthy perhaps of further consideration by British visitors. Local excursions could include the Flipje Museum (jam and marmalade) and the Glasmuseum in Leerdam.

The toilet blocks are of a good standard and include family rooms and accessible facilities . Hot water is on payment in both showers and washbasins (in individual cabins). Laundry facilities. Dogs are permitted on a small field for touring units only.

Site is 25 km. SSE of Utrecht, clearly signed from both directions on the E25 road between Utrecht and ’s Hertogenbosch. Take the exit 14 (Beesd) and site is 200 m.
