Alan Rogers Review of Camping Bel Air
Camping Club Bel Air is a peaceful site located next to an attractive ten-hectare lake and close to the National Regional Park of Périgord and Limousin. The site has 100 medium to large, grass pitches with 91 for touring, 56 of these with electricity (10A). They are on low terraces, separated by hedges and most have light shade from a variety of tall trees. There is a children’s play area, giant chess, a TV/games room and fresh bread is available from reception (July and August). The lake has good fishing and some watersports facilities. Guided walks and a few activities are organised during high season. No twin-axle caravans.
St-Yrieux-la-Perche is a short drive away and well worth a visit. It has a number of beautiful lakes and walks surrounding the town, and a variety of shops and markets, including the grand market held on every second and fourth Friday of the month. The imposing church high on a hill at the centre of town is also worth the climb for its panoramic view. The Château at Jumilhac-le-Grand is within easy reach.

Directions to Camping Bel Air
Take the N21 for 20 km. southwest of Limoges to Châlux. Turn southeast on D901 to Ladignac-le-Long. Just before town turn north on D229 and follow signs to site.
