Camper Place Pajiesmeniai is a delightfully quaint little site run by friendly Lithuanian/Dutch owners. It is open all year and just 1.5 miles off the Via Baltica, 13 miles from the Latvian border. Daiva speaks many languages and will teach you much about life in Lithuania before and after its recent independence. The site has 20 touring pitches with 20-amp hook-up points. There are places for tents in the garden and campers stay in the meadow. When the weather isn't on your side, there is also an area to pitch up in a yard on asphalt.

Facilities include a barn that has been converted into three modern bathrooms (two with a shower), a washing-up sink, and a washing machine with lines for drying. A book exchange library, an educational corner for small children, and a family museum are being set up. There is also a sauna on site too perfect for relaxing in after exploring the area. Wi-Fi works OK. There is a pleasant walk along the river into the tiny village with two basic shops. Near the cultural centre is a basketball/football field and a children's playground.

Directions to Camper Place Pajiesmeniai

The site is 1,2 km from the E67/A10 Via Baltica. From the Riga direction turn off the motorway shortly after the junction with the 125 and turn left onto the 3132 to Pajiesmeniai. The site is then on this road.
