Les Sirènes is a large campsite located in the forest behind the popular resort of Saint Jean-de-Monts. The nearest beach, just 700 m. away, is long and sandy, shelving very gradually into the sea. The 291 touring pitches vary considerably in size and level; some, ideal for tents, are among the tall pine trees, whilst others are on flat ground but still have shade provided by a variety of younger trees (192 have 6-10A electrical connections - long leads required on some - and water taps nearby). A number of equipped tents and mobile homes (including specially adapted models with accessible facilities) are available to rent.

On-site amenities include a swimming pool and separate children’s pool, a multisports pitch and archery. This is a lively site in high season with plenty going on, including a daily children’s club and regular sporting competitions. Evenings, however, are generally quiet, with just a weekly ‘soirée dansante’. Les Sirènes has a good location with easy pedestrian access to the beach, and to lively Saint Jean-de-Monts with a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants plus a daily market.

Several small sanitary blocks serve the different parts of the site, though in low season only the main block is open. Some modern preset showers and mainly open-style washbasins (a few are in cabins). Accessible facilities, Washing machines and dryers. Shop, bar and takeaway (July/Aug). Heated outdoor swimming pools with paddling pool (seasonal, supervised July/Aug). Multisports pitch. Bicycle hire. Bouncy castle. Archery. Play area. Children’s and teenagers’ club and activities programme (July/Aug). WiFi around reception (charged). Gas and electric barbecues only.

Directions to Campéole Les Sirènes

From southern end of D38/D38bis St Jean bypass turn north on D38 Route des Sables towards town. At next roundabout go left on D123 Avenue Valentin, signed La Plage. Right at second roundabout, then after 1.2 km. right at roundabout along Ave des Mimosas into Ave des Demoiselles. Site on right in 400 m.
