Alan Rogers Review
Located on the shores of Bohinjsko Jezero, this tranquil site offers lots of opportunities for nature lovers to explore the Triglav National Park. A stone beach gives lake access where you may enjoy open-water swimming. Kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and mountain bikes are all available to hire on-site. The site takes care of the local environment and recycles waste, uses eco-friendly cleaning products and avoids plastic use wherever possible. Pre-booking a pitch is not possible, so early arrival is reccomended.
A children's play area is found close to the bar/restaurant, allowing little ones to explore whilst the grown-ups enjoy a well-earned break. In the local area, a climb to the peak of Mt Triglav, the highest summit in Slovenia, is a popular activity, but it shouldn't be attempted without the assistance of a local guide which can be arranged from reception. The lake has 2 electric tourist boats which stop at the site and offer panoramic tours of the lake.
