Burghead Holiday Park is nestled beside the charming fishing village of Burghead amidst the picturesque Moray Firth coastline. The park is adjacent to the beach and provides the perfect peaceful setting for your caravan or motorhome holiday. There are no facilities as such on site but the park has all the essential amenities needed for a comfortable stay, as modern sanitary facilities with hot showers , laudry facilities and electric hook-up points available. dogs are also welcome on site too. The pitches are well maintained and have all the space you need to enjoy the great outdoors - late autumn is particularly spectacular on the park, as you can often see the aurora borealis light up the evening sky. Dolphins and whales can be spotted in the bay.

A short two-minute stroll from the park will take you to the beautiful coastal village of Burghead, where you’ll find quaint local shops and country pubs - you can also walk or cycle the Coastal Trail east, toward Hopeman, two miles away, which also has all the amenities described above plus an 18-hole golf course.

Moving further inland, you can visit the town of Elgin, which has breath-taking scenery, a huge amount of character and a number of local distilleries, including Glen Moray, Gordon & MacPhail and Glen Elgin, most of which have open days for the public and whisky trails. The town also hosts a fantastic selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.

For those seeking a bit more entertainment, a quick 11-minute drive will take you to the parks neighbouring holiday park, Silver Sands Holiday Park. Here, you can enjoy the indoor swimming pool or eat at the park's restaurant. You can also enjoy live music, comedy shows, and family-friendly entertainment in the evenings.

Directions to Burghead Holiday Park

Follow the B9013 into the village of Burghead, and then turn left onto Bridge Street. Follow Bridge Street until you see Burghead beach. This is where you will find a sign saying 'Welcome to Burghead Beach Caravan Park'.
