Beddgelert Forest Holidays site is the perfect location if you are looking for a tranquil, relaxing experience. Set within a conifer and broadleaf forest, Beddgelert site offers you a place to get away from it all, take in the local surroundings and get closer to nature. Set within Snowdonia National Park and just a few minutes from the pretty Welsh village that shares its name, Beddgelert is an idyllic riverside location, surrounded by snow-capped mountains (in the winter) in an area of Wales that is steeped in legend. One of the most wonderful aspects of Beddgelert site is that it is one of the stops for the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway. A unique way to see the Snowdonia scenery, with a day ticket you have unlimited access to hop off and back on again at various points along the track. The Meillionen stop at Beddgelert is a short walk from your pitch.

59 hard-standing pitches are available with electric hook up (included in price). Vehicles including trailer tents and camper vans must be booked onto a hard-standing pitch and must fit within the dimensions of your chosen pitch. Hard-standing pitches are located near to the facilities block, if you prefer, tents can book onto these pitches but will require rock pegs. 26 grass pitches are available for tents only. Grass pitches are situated by the picturesque river, Afon Colwyn. However, young families should note that during periods of rainfall the river has fast-flowing water. There is a short walk between the camping field and the facilities block. Beddgelert site is situated in a wonderfully scenic corner of Wales, with many beautiful towns and villages to discover nearby including the village of Beddgelert, just a short distance away. With many pubs, restaurants and shops, Beddgelert is great to explore and is accessible by bike along the Lon Gwyrfai footpath.

Directions to Beddgelert Forest Hoildays

From Caernarfon take A4085 to Waunfawr, Betws Garmon and Rhyd-Ddu the site is then on the right. Other routes are not suitable for towing vehicles and large motorhomes.
