Amazing views greet you as you arrive at Beacon Farm. The stark remains of Wheal Coates tin mine stand out against the cliffs, and views over the sea extend as far as Saint Ives. This lovely site is set in a fantastic location; you can choose an inland pitch surrounded by natural wildflowers and hedgerows. These are more sheltered; however, most choose a coastal pitch with beautiful views across the Cornish Coast and Countryside. This site is also in an area that received a ‘Dark Sky’ award in 2014. The Sawle family have run this site for several generations as a mixed beef and arable farm and are proud to keep this campsite clean and tidy. There are 60 pitches and 6 of which are fully serviced, and the rest with 10A electricity. There is also a traditional Cornish Cottages to rent on-site.

You will find a reception with tourist information, modern toilets and showers and a laundry/utility room with three washing machines and an iron.

This is a truly popular area with walkers and birdwatchers. A ten minute walk takes you to Chapel Porth beach, an unspoilt sandy cove offering excellent swimming and surfing, with caves and rock pools to explore. Saint Agnes with good shops and restaurants is 1.5 miles away by car or you can walk through fields past the foot of Saint Agnes’ Beacon.

Directions to Beacon Cottage Farm Holidays

Leave A30 at Chiverton roundabout. Take B3277 west to St Agnes. At mini roundabout turn left towards Chapel Port, follow brown signs to site. Some of the lanes to the site are single track, so please plan your route carefully, I would suggest approaching from St Agnes.
