This neat, well run, spacious lakeside site, part of a leisure village complex, has 105 grassy pitches with 63 for touring units. All of these have 10A electricity and 30 also have water and a drain. They are individually hedged and a variety of young trees give only a little shade. The site is fully fenced and a security barrier with a key is used for the gates to the lakeside. The adjacent Base de Loisirs offers a wide variety of activities and the area is very good for walking and cycling. This is a good base for both summer and winter. Due to its location, expect some traffic noise.

Also close to the site is La Voie Verte, 56 km. of former railway line now used for cycling, roller skating and walking. Other attractions in the region include the Route des Vins in summer, and skiing in winter.

Base de Loisirs adjacent with lake (swimming supervised July/Aug), sandy beach, play area, climbing wall, fishing, archery and hire of pedaloes, canoes and kayaks. 37 chalets to rent.

Directions to Base de Loisirs du Lac de la Moselotte

Saulxures-sur-Moselotte is 20 km. east of Remiremont. From Remiremont take D417 east (St Amé), then right (southeast) on D43 towards La Bresse for 10.5 km. Turn left into Saulxures (site signed), entrance on right by lake after 700 m.
