AZUR Camping Regensburg is a campsite situated directly on the banks of the Danube River, only 3.5 kilometres outside Regensburg city centre. It is ideal for campers who want to explore the historic city while also enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. On-site, there are 141 touring pitches with electric hook-up points available. Pitches vary in size and are mainly on grass but some are gravel and are well shaded by tall trees.

On-site facilities include a restaurant and bar with a terrace that is located by the campsite reception which serves traditional German dishes as well as other European cusine. You also have the opportunity to go swimming as there is a small pebble beach, which is perfect for cooling off on a summer's day after exploring the city. If you want to have a chilled day back at the campsite, then there is table tennis to keep the kids occupied. The Donauradweg, a bicycle path that goes directly past the campsite, leads to the city centre. If you don't have your own transportation, a bus stop is located right outside the site. The campsite does have a small shop selling the basics but there is a larger supermarket located 800m from the site in the opposite direction of the city centre.
