This is a beautiful site, set close to the chic coastal town of La Baule, which is well worth a visit and is regarded by many as on par with some of the seaside towns on the French Riviera. The site offers easy access from the main road, check-in was efficient, and English was spoken; there are 120 touring pitches, all well manicured and dived by low hedging, all with 6/10A electricity; you can tell a lot has been spent on this site by in recent years, and it does offer a first-class family holiday experience. (The site is a member of the Airotel Camping Group) 

At the centre of this site is the amazing water park with indoor and outdoor pools, water slides, whirlpools, and integrated water play areas. Entertainment for all ages in July/August also centres around this area both during the day and in the evening. You are also only 2 km from a beautiful sandy beach and 800 m from the forest for cycling and walking.

The site is just 2 km. from the sophisticated seaside resort of La Baule and within easy reach of other attractive beaches, the historic town of Guérande with its salt marshes and the Natural Reserve of La Brière, which can be explored by horse and cart or by boat. The one disadvantage is that a very busy dual carriageway passes alongside, and some of the pitches back onto this road.

Sanitary facilities were excellent and always clean, Accessible facilities, washing machines and dryers. A modern extension to another block has en-suite showers and washbasins and an attractively decorated children’s section. Small shop. Bar with snacks and restaurant facility and separate takeaway (all season). Outdoor swimming complex, Play area. Games/TV and fitness rooms. Multisports court. Tennis. Bicycle hire. Entertainment, Boules. WiFi throughout (free). 300 m from the local shops and just 2 km from La Baule with many major supermarkets.

Directions to Airotel la Roseraie

Site is beside the N171/D99 Nantes and St Nazaire-Guérande road (Route Bleue). Leave at exit for La Baule-les Pins and Escoublac and go towards La Baule (still N171). At church in Escoublac turn right and site is 500 m. on right, just after bridge over Route Bleue.
