Sunflower fields, vineyards and mountainous landscapes...

Camping in The Most Beautiful Villages of France
Welcome to the real France. Part of France's great appeal is its diversity; the landscapes, the cuisine, the architecture, the traditions – every region has its own signature.
Take the Loire, with its stately châteaux and flower-decked villages, or the Dordogne, with its undulating landscape and laid-back way of life: it's easy to see how each department can provide something unique to make your holiday in France exceptional.
Whatever time of year you visit, France is truly enchanting. Its coastline has so much to offer, from the rugged headlands of Brittany and the historic D-Day beaches in Normandy to the vast sandy shores of Charente and the Mediterranean charm of the Languedoc. Then there are the majestic mountain ranges to discover: the Pyrenees, where the Cathar castles lie, and the Vosges, where there's an undeniable German influence.
Les Plus Beaux Villages de France is an independent association, created in 1982, for the promotion of the tourist appeal of small rural villages with a rich cultural heritage. As of February 2023, 172 villages are registered, including two in Corsica and one in the French Overseas Department Réunion.
