Set in a grassy meadow, this newly created park is surrounded by farmland, half a mile from Sherriff Hutton with its two pubs and village shops. A total of 70 pitches are available, 35 of which are for touring, 30 with hardstanding and electricity (16A) and five super pitches with hardstanding and all services. A further area has room for 38 tents, some with electricity. These are separated from the touring section by trees and a children’s play area. The park is a haven for wildlife with trees and meadows all around. It is very peaceful here yet within easy reach to visit the historic city of York, just eight miles away.

You can be sure of a warm welcome from the park wardens who will offer advice and information on the local area. A motorhome service point and a late arrivals area with electricity are outside the barrier.

Facilities at York Meadows Caravan Park

The heated toilet facilities are in a single block along with reception and provide a mix of washbasins in cubicles and open vanity units. Separate accessible shower room. Laundry facilities. Small shop in reception selling essentials. Slides, swings and a zip wire frame for children (safety surface). WiFi (free but limited reception). Max. 2 dogs.

Directions to York Meadows Caravan Park

Join A64 between York and Scarborough. Approximately 8 miles beyond York, heading for Malton, turn left, signposted Flaxton and Sheriff Hutton. At West Lilling turn left for Strensall. Site entrance immediately opposite junction.
