With beautiful panoramas across the Corbières massif and the Pyrenees beyond, Yelloh! Village Domaine d’Arnauteille is a rural site that is ideal for exploring the ancient Aude département and visiting the stunning walled city of Carcassonne (17 km). This is a great spot for those seeking walking and cycling amidst glorious scenery and a chance to explore the charming hilltop villages. Lovers of gastronomy will not be disappointed.

Some pitches are on gently sloping, lightly wooded ground; others are more open. All are of good size, with water, drainage and electricity (10A), semi-terraced and partly hedged. Some even come with views over Montclar village. In the style of a Roman amphitheatre, the swimming pool complex is set in a hollow basin surrounded by fine views. Access, although much improved, could be difficult for large, twin-axle caravans.

The reception building is vast; originally a farm building, with a newer top floor being converted to apartments. The large barn has now been converted into a smart new restaurant with an outdoor stage area opposite. The Leclerc family have worked very hard to develop this spacious site; the views and its rural situation make it very attractive. Some very steep up-and-down walking between the pitches and facilities however, is unavoidable.

Three toilet blocks, two with a Roman theme, are fully equipped with some en-suite provision. Laundry, Accessible sanitary facilities. Motorhome services. Small shop (from mid-May). Bar and restaurant in the converted stable block and takeaway (from mid-May). Swimming pool (from mid-May), two toboggans, paddling pool, river with water massage and sunbathing terrace. Multisports court. Boules. Play area. Riding (July/Aug). Day trips. Library, games room, TV. WiFi (charged). Gas barbecues only.

Directions to Yelloh! Village Domaine d’Arnauteille

D118 from Carcassonne, pass Rouffiac d’Aude. At new roundabout turn right to Montclar up narrow road (passing places) for 2.5 km. Site signed very sharp left up hill before village.
