This rural site has been completely refurbished by the present owners. It is within walking distance of the small historical village of La Roque-sur-Cèze and has access to a rocky beach bordering the River Cèze, with a large natural pool for bathing. There are 128 good sized, slightly sloping and uneven pitches with 40 for touring, all with electricity (10A) and 13 fully serviced comfort pitches. They are separated by mature trees offering good shade. A new swimming pool and paddling pools are open and heated all season. This site between Cévennes, Provence and Ardèche is a good base for touring this beautiful region.

An attractive bar/restaurant offers Italian cuisine and high quality entertainment every night in high season. There is a daily programme of activities for all including kayaking trips down the River Cèze. A short walk from the site will take you to the beautiful Cascades du Sautadet and a little further along the river you can wander up the narrow cobbled streets of La Roque-sur-Cèze (said to be one of the most beautiful villages in France).

Location

From Bagnols take D6 west towards Alès. After 4 km. turn right on D143, signed La Roque-sur-Cèze. After 8 km. turn right on D166 to site on right just before La Roque-sur-Cèze. Avoid the road from the north which has a very narrow bridge (2.1 m).
