Alan Rogers Review
If you have ever dreamed of waking up with the beach on your doorstep, then Woolacombe has all the ingredients required for an authentic seaside holiday, and the best ocean views overlooking ‘Britain’s best beach.' In 2016 there was major investment in a modern entertainment complex with a sea view terrace and all-day café bar, cinema, fitness gym, craft centre, soft play area and indoor fun pool. There is a superb selection of accommodation with caravan holiday homes and 'surf lodges' with private hot tubs in a premium development. There are also camping and touring pitches with excellent facilities.
If you are looking for a lively park with magnificent views across the bay, excellent facilities and all-weather activities for the whole family to enjoy, then this is the perfect place to stay. Whether you stay as a couple, or with family and friends, there’s something for everyone at this lively medium size park with unrivalled sea views. Enjoy health spa and treatments or family fun at the sports area.
Indoor heated pool with a toddler fun pool, children will love the pirate ship with slides, fountains, water pistols and a lifesize alligator! Those who want to venture outside can enjoy the outdoor heated pool with toddler pool and flume or you may want to just relax on a sun lounger, soak up the view on the large sun terrace. The sauna, steam room, plunge pool and hot tub, in the health spa make it the perfect place to unwind. You can also indulge yourself with a massage, beauty treatment or visit to the nail bar.
A professional entertainment programme is packed full of exciting shows for the little ones and adults alike. During the day the 'ParkStars' team up with Billy and Betty Beachball to run kids’ clubs. There is also an 'Extreme Teen' club for the older ones as well. There is a cinema and pottery painting studio which will keep adults and kids busy for hours creating their very own masterpiece. In the early evening, there is a disco for the kids followed by Billy & Betty’s live shows. Later in the evening, there is live music, comedy shows, cabarets, game shows, party dances and more.
If you are looking for activities where you can compete against family and friends, then visit the climbing wall, 'WaterWalkerz', 'AquaJets', bungee trampoline or 'AquaNauts' swimming lessons. Hit the surf and sign up for some lessons at the on-site surf school. Those who want to keep fit can enjoy the gym with spectacular sea views.
A double-decker bus will take you down to the beach or to the other parks in the group (Twitchen House and Easewell Farm) which are only minutes away. Guests can use the facilities and activities on all three and many of the activities are free.
