This site accepts only motorhomes. There are no toilet facilities, only showers, so units must be self-contained. It is open all year round and welcomes 70 units on its hard surface, but between May and October numbers are increased to 80, 50 with electricity hook-ups. It is a verdant site with abundant trees (but little shade) and units are arranged around an attractive pond. It is popular with visitors to Bad Harzburg’s thermal spa, Harz National Park and the cable-car at Castle Mountain. There are some good walks direct from the site.
