wecamp Cadaqués is basic and mainly used by transit campers and backpackers for short stays to visit the Dali attraction. Not recommended for holidays, it is included to give an easier overnight visit to this quite isolated location. There are 200 pitches of 60-70 sq.m, some with a slight slope, and a separate area for tents. The large swimming pool is adjacent to the bar and restaurant with a terrace giving stunning views of the mountains, the Port of Lligat, Dali’s house and the nature reserve. There are very few activities other than the pool and the site does look a little tired out of high season.

Picturesque Cadaqués is only accessible by a long winding road over the hills behind Roses and the attractive promenade is lined with restaurants where you can sit and watch the fishermen land their catches. Camping Cadaqués overlooks Port Lligat where Salvador Dali constructed his famous home which has recently been opened to the public (spot the house from the terrace). This site suitable as a stopover if you do not wish for the long drive in and out and wish to be able to walk to this magnificent house in a most unusual setting or to enjoy the local cuisine, beaches and watersports. The Port of Lligat is slowly being changed to accommodate the visitors to what is anticipated to become one of the most popular historic destinations in Spain.

Facilities at wecamp Cadaqués

The toilet block is elderly and basic. Cleaning and maintenance are suspect. Laundry service and ironing. Good, well stocked supermarket producing its own bread. Restaurant/bar. Swimming pool (high season). Dogs are not accepted.
