Attractive pitches are a feature at Waldegraves, with plenty of open space and hedging bordering the pitches, ensuring privacy for guests whether camping or caravanning. Serviced pitches are designed for any type of tourer, tent or motorhome. They have their own electric hook up points and water points on each pitch. There is are a limited number of hardstanding pitches, which are partially smooth gravel and grass. There is so much to do at Waldegraves there is no time to get bored. Activities to suit the whole family including crazy golf, pitch & putt, UK foot golf, golf driving range, family games room, kids fun zone, coarse fishing lakes, table tennis, all weather sports court, access to the private beach and outdoor heated swimming pool. The site has 200 touring pitches as well as a number of mobile homes to rent.
The Granary offers a superb selection of hot and cold meals taking advantage of the masses of quality fresh produce local to Mersea Island. Eat in the superb comfort of the restaurant or on the decking overlooking the swimming pool. The Granary has a fully licensed bar with a great selection of draught & bottled beers, soft drinks and fine wines from around the world.

Location
join the B1025 to Mersea Island. Cross the Strood Channel via ‘The Causeway’ and then take the left fork to East Mersea. Take the second turning to the right and follow the brown and cream Tourist Board signs to Waldegraves. Do not forget to check the tide times for getting on and off the island before coming to Mersea. When there are very high tides The Strood can be flooded for up to an hour or more.
