This is a large, professionally run tourist village which offers all a holiday maker could want. The Granzotto family have owned the site since the sixties and the results of their continuous improvements are very impressive. There are 300 clean pitches with electricity (10/16A), fully serviced, including TV hook-up, shaded by mature trees and mostly on flat ground. The site’s large sandy beach is excellent (umbrellas and loungers are available for a small charge). All facilities are well thought out, in peak condition, and there is something for everyone. The tourist village is split by a main road (bridge for pedestrians) with the main restaurant, gym, laundry, disco, cinema and children’s club, play areas and pleasant wooded spaces on the very smart chalet side.

A most comprehensive entertainment programme is on offer daily and the large lagoon pool complex is superb with a great flume and slides in the second big pool, plus spas and a separate fun pool. This is a superb site for families and when we visited there were lots of happy faces. The local area is a major tourist resort but for more relaxation try the famous Bibione thermal baths, just 100 m. from the site (10% discount for campers).

Directions to Villaggio Turistico Internazionale

Leave A4 east of Venice at Latisana exit on Latisana road. Then take road 354 towards Lignano, after 12 km. turn right to Bevazzana and then left to Bibione. Site is well signed on entering town.
