Located in the heart of the picturesque Dalarna region, directly on the shores of Lake Siljan, Västanviksbadets Camping Leksand offers a serene escape for those seeking a tranquil holiday. This charming campsite is particularly suited for couples without children, singles, and retirees, as it prioritises a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.  It does not have a playground or entertainment. Located just 4 kilometres outside Leksand on the western side of Lake Siljan, the campsite boasts a spacious 4-hectare area and is conveniently situated for exploring the surrounding region.

The site has 70 touring pitches and a 10-amp hook-up point. The campsite slopes, so the pitches are on several terraces. With its 12 charming Swedish timbered cottages, each with a unique history, the campsite offers a glimpse into the past while providing modern amenities.

Västanviksbadets has been a beloved bathing spot since 1946 when it was transformed into a campground. Renowned for its serene beauty and cosy atmosphere, this idyllic camping destination offers a peaceful retreat for campers seeking relaxation and a touch of nostalgia. Directions to Västanviksbadets Camping

From route 70 Borlänge-Mora follow signs to Leksand. South of Leksand cross the bridge and at a roundabout take the first exit towards Siljansnäs. The site is 4 km west of Leksand directly on the lake.
