Diana Heide is in a beautiful location on the edge of the Drentsche National Park and is surrounded by vast and varied forests. In recent years, this 30-acre site has seen a real metamorphosis. The natural setting here is complemented by many modern amenities. Although one half of the terrain is dedicated to camping, the other half has been designated as a nature reserve. There are 300 spacious touring pitches here (110-200 sq.m), all with 10A electricity, water and drainage. Diana Heide is very family friendly and there is an outdoor swimming pool, a playground, sports fields, a private rowing and fishing pond and a children’s theatre.

In high season, there is an activity and entertainment programme for young children, and a separate programme for teenagers. There is a convivial restaurant with a large outdoor terrace and a snack bar. A small supermarket is well stocked and sells fresh bread. There is good access to the surrounding forests, with their ponds, woods and heaths. An ideal site for hiking and cycling or maybe walking the dog.

Approaching on A28 (Zwolle-Groningen motorway) take exit 31 towards Hooghalen. Follow signs to Grolloo and Amen, and then follow signs to the site.
