Ty Mawr Holiday Park is located close to the many attractions of the North Wales Coast and the Snowdonia National Park. The Warren touring area has two modernised toilet blocks. The pool complex has an excellent indoor pool and flume with supervision and organised activities. There is some traffic noise from the road adjacent to the Meadow touring area, which is served by a portable toilet block. There is a large proportion of privately owned and rental caravan holiday homes, however this means that the site can provide extra entertainment and catering facilities for guests. Please check availability and pricing for very large units.
It is an easy walk into the town of Towyn with its seaside facilities, and Rhyl, some three miles along the coast, is a busy resort with a funfair and holiday amusements. Ty Mawr is ideal for families seeking plenty of holiday park type activities, with organised children’s clubs for 5-16 year olds. The outdoor all-weather multisport courts and the playground are excellent facilities for younger family members and the whole family are catered for in the entertainment complex, which provides pool and darts. In the evening there are discos and live spectaculars.
Facilities at Ty Mawr Holiday Park
Two well maintained blocks which can be heated serve the main touring area with functional prefabricated units on the open meadows. They are regularly cleaned. Washbasins are open style, preset showers have curtains and hooks, but no seats. Baby rooms. Spacious accessible facilities (key). Launderette. Ice pack service. Shop. Bar with meals, cafeteria and takeaway. Indoor pool. Extensive multisports courts. Excellent play areas and children’s clubs. Evening family entertainment. WiFi (free).
Directions to Ty Mawr Holiday Park
Take the A55 in a westerly direction into North Wales and take exit 24 for Abergele. Follow signs for A548 Rhyl and Pensarn towards Towyn. Shortly after Pensarn turn right into site.
