Alan Rogers Review of Trentfield Farm Camping & Caravanning
A small, friendly, professionally run park. The owners of Trentfield Farm work on the policy of old-fashioned camping and caravanning with all the new amenities and mod-cons! Located in north Nottinghamshire, Trentfield Farm is set between historic Lincoln, Newark, Worksop and Gainsborough, immediately on the banks of the River Trent. It is just within the idyllic hamlet of Church Laneham, an old estate village of the Bishop of York, which is steeped in history. The campsite is level and free draining with just 25 grass pitches for touring, 16A electricity hook-ups and nearby taps. A further 20 pitches are for seasonals and six mobile homes are available to rent. There is private river frontage with free coarse fishing. Three excellent golf courses are also only a short drive away.
Each customer is provided with a comprehensive information pack on arrival and a customer survey card. Within a five minute walk you can be at the Ferry Boat Inn, a real country pub with excellent ales and food which is superb value. The village store is a five minute drive away. This park is well off the beaten track and there are miles of country roads to explore, either by bike or on foot, well away from major roads.
