Alan Rogers Review
With sea views from almost every pitch and with a backdrop of the Welsh hills, this campsite has something for everyone, both young and old. Entrance and exit via the site barrier, and access to the facilities are by a key fob. A well equipped children’s play area with safety surface is close to reception. Of the 142 touring pitches, 70 are for tents (48 with electricity) while the remaining 72 are fully serviced and can take RVs. The campsite has a large dog walking field and from the corner of the site is a lit walk to the Wayside Inn, avoiding the main road.
Facilities are shared with the sister site across the road, which has a private beach. The site managers will assist with positioning your unit if required. A member of the Best of British group.
Two toilet blocks are equipped to a very high standard, however one is kept in reserve for when cleaning is being done, except at the busiest times. Facilities for disabled visitors with good access (Radar key). Baby changing facilities in both male and female toilets. Fully equipped laundry. Shop. Playground. WiFi (charged).

From Barmouth follow signs for Harlech (do not take beach road), pass through the town. After town, pass church, up the hill and leave the 40 mph speed limit. Pass Caerddaniel Holiday Park and Wayside Inn. Trawsdir entrance is just beyond on right hand side.
