Alan Rogers Review
In a rural setting and nestling at the foot of the Lammermuir hills, this holiday park offers either a restful or a lively stay. It is close to historic Dunbar with its beaches, harbour and ruined castle. The 129 touring pitches are set away from the 510 holiday homes. All have 10A electricity connections. Thirty of these are super pitches with electricity, water and drainage.
The indoor heated swimming pool and leisure complex offer space to relax and work out. There are woodland walks, safe play areas for children and fishing in a well-stocked pond. With so much to do on-site, it would be tempting not to venture out, but the East Lothian coastline has much to offer. Within a short drive, there are many villages with their quaint harbours.
Also worth a visit are the Seabird Centre at North Berwick, the Museum of Flight at East Fortune and the Myreton Motor Museum. Edinburgh, the Festival City with its many attractions and sightseeing opportunities, is less than an hour’s drive. Parking is difficult but there are good bus and train services from Dunbar.
