The Braids is a gently sloping site with 78 pitches, with a mixture of both grass and hardstandings, that are in the main, level. Some of the pitches have shade, and a few are fully serviced. All pitches have electricity 10A. Tents are not allowed, and a few seasonal caravans are located around the site. Access is controlled by a keyfob (£5 deposit payable). Easy access on the edge of Gretna, yet close to all facilities. Close to the coast and river estuary.

Even if you’re not in Gretna for a wedding, the site offers an excellent location for touring Dumfries & Galloway or for a nights stop on route to the Highlands. The site is located on the edge of this famous town and in walking distance of essential shops, bars and eateries.

Facilities at The Braids Caravan Park
The modern sanitary block is centrally located and equipped with showers (20p), WCs, washing facilities and a separate area for dishwashing and vegetable preparation. accessible facilities and chemical toilet disposal. A separate building is available to hire for rallies or family events.
Directions to The Braids Caravan Park
Driving north on the M6 take the Gretna exit shortly after entering Scotland and turn left at the first roundabout along Annan Road. Pass the Cooperative supermarket, and the site is on the right after a few hundred yards.
