Situated on Lac Lucerne's shore, between a sports centre, marina and a lakeside beach, Camping Buochs Vierwaldstättersee is an ideal site for relaxing in the sun. Take the occasional refreshing dip in the lake (50 metres away), or venture further afield to explore the Swiss Plateau and the Alps' beauty. Completely renovated in 2017 the modern site features 150 level pitches, of which around 90 are for touring. All have 8A electricity, but there is little, to no shade. There is no restaurant, but campers may use a communal barbecue. There is plenty to do on-site, hire of electric bikes allows you to take advantage of the numerous cycling routes nearby, and Lucerne is a short bus and train journey away. Several accommodation options are available, including tipi, pods and shepherd style huts.

Directions to TCS Camping Buochs Vierwaldstättersee

Leave A2 (Bâle-Lucerne-Chiasso) at exit 34 (Buochs), turn left at the top of Beckenriederstrasse. Continue to Buochs village square, turn right onto Ennetbürgerstrasse as far as the roundabout, taking second exit. After some 650 m. leaving Buochs, bear right into Strandbadstrasse. In 100 m. turn right to site in 200 m.
