This well established site, being just outside the Federal Capital, is conveniently placed either for an overnight stop or for exploring the city and surrounds. The 304 pitches (230 for touring) are numbered but not marked out and you choose your own place; cars are parked away from the pitches. All have 6A electricity and there are special pitches for motorhomes. There are some static units but there should always be room. The shop also serves drinks which can be taken to a rest room nearby or consumed on the terrace. The restaurant offers a daily lunch menu.

A small lake nearby is unsuitable for swimming, but there is a pool on site.

Two toilet blocks are fully equipped with hot showers, washbasins in cabins and accessible facilities. One block is heated in cool weather. Baby room. Washing machines and dryers. Shop. Restaurant/takeaway. Swimming pool and children’s pool (May-Sept). TV room. Day room. Playground. Bicycle hire. WiFi throughout (charged).

Take Bethlehem exit 33 from N1 motorway on western side of Bern, follow camping and Aarberg signs. Site is on right before river.
