Sunny Side Caravan and Camping is close to the Jurassic Coast and a 10-minute drive from Lyme Regis and Axminster. A lot of effort has gone into making sure this place has things sorted for such breaks. For starters you may like to note the heated toilet and shower block and the fact that the play area has picnic tables next to it where weary parents can settle with a cuppa while keeping a beady eye on energetic children. Emma and Tony are firm believers that campfires are an essential part of the outdoorsy experience, and so they have installed a sociable campfire area where experts can share tips and novices can try out their skills at a safe distance from the main action. Also vital for such stays are plenty of hours spent out in the fresh air, and they are easily achieved from this spot. Walkers can hit footpaths just outside the site or drive south for 10 minutes or so for the coast path. That coast is, of course, the Jurassic Coast, a prime spot for fossil hunts, beach days, water sports, seafood dinners and all sorts of activities. The site has 8 serviced, hardstanding touring pitches.

From the A35 Axminster/Charmouth road at Raymonds Hill take the B3165 towards Marshwood. Turn left at Wareham Road and the site is on the left off this road after you have passed Hawkchurch Resort.
