This is an exceptionally big site on the banks of a large lake fed by clear alpine streams. There are some 700 pitches for touring units out of a total of over 1,200. All the grass, level touring pitches have electricity (16A) with 150 also providing water and drainage and some new 150 sq.m. super comfort pitches. As you would expect with a site of this kind, there is a considerable range of sports facilities and an extensive games and entertainment programme during July and August. A small sandy beach offers facilities for swimming in the lake (lifeguards are in attendance in the high season). A member of Leading Campings group.

An adjoining windsurfing school is available to campers. The site has a large restaurant and beer garden on the banks of the lake and rooms and caravans available to rent.

WiFi over site (charged). A new 200 sq.m. indoor children’s play area and a young people’s games room and trampoline have been added.

Site is 30 km. northwest of Salzburg. From A8 take exit 112 and head towards Traunstein. Turn right on road no. 304 then left towards Waging. Just before bridge turn right and then right towards site.
