Stanwix Park is a family run holiday park with absolutely everything anyone could want for a memorable holiday all year round. The park has 111 caravan holiday homes and chalets to rent, together with 212 which are privately owned. These are mostly located around the central complex. In addition at either end of the park, there are 121 fully serviced (10A electricity) pitches for touring units and tents, some on grass, some with hardstanding. A warm welcome awaits in the main reception, with lots of local and tourist information. Motorhomes over eight metres only accepted by prior arrangement.

The indoor tropical leisure centre contains a 29 m. fun pool with slides, a steam room, sauna, spa, fitness gym and vertical sun shower (charge). The upper floor has the Sky Bar and Dunes Cabaret Bar (adults only) with the Sunset Inn licensed family club, all enjoying nightly entertainment and special themed weekends from November to March. A giant TV and snooker room are in the Gallery observation area with a state-of-the-art Astro Bowling Centre (charged) and amusement arcade, with a soft play area and ball pond to one side. Outside are a large, terraced swimming pool, an adventure play area and minigolf, all screened by plants and shrubs.

The two heated sanitary blocks are maintained to a high standard, kept spotlessly clean and opened by combination lock. Location

From the south, take exit 41 from the M6 and follow B5305 through Wigton to Silloth. From north on A74/M6 take exit 44 and the A595 and A596 to Wigton. On entering Silloth, turn left following signs for park. Entrance is on the right.
