Alan Rogers Review of St Ives Bay Holiday Park
A large and spacious site with pitches laid out amongst undulating dunes leading down to its own three-mile-long sandy beach. Some of the pitches have lovely views over St Ives Bay, while others are more sheltered by the large dunes and may be some way from the beach.
There are over 1,000 pitches, with around half for touring. Three hundred have 16A electricity, but those near the sea lack electricity. The maximum footprint of all outfits is 8x5m. There is an on-site surf school for those wishing to learn to surf. Dogs are not accepted.
There are plenty of organised on-site activities and entertainment for all the family, mostly in high season. For those wishing to relax, there is a sun terrace near the Bistro and games room with wonderful views over St Ives Bay. The size of the site makes some walking inevitable, although there is a car park close to the beach. One could spend the whole holiday on site, however this beautiful area of Cornwall is well worth exploring.

Several adequate toilet blocks with all necessary facilities, some catering for babies and accessible sanitary facilities. Launderette. Motorhome services. Comprehensive shop. Beach shop. Bars and Bistro. A small indoor pool and a separate shallow pool. Games room with electronic games. Mini golf, Multisport pitch, TV room. Pool table. Family entertainment. Large play area next to the bar. Surf School. WiFi near Bistro (free).
