Alan Rogers Review
A very large and spacious site with pitches laid out amongst undulating sand dunes leading down to its own three-mile-long, sandy beach. Some of the pitches have wonderful views over St Ives Bay, while others are more sheltered by the large dunes and may be some way from the beach. The maximum footprint of all outfits is 8x5 m, There are over 1,000 pitches with around half for touring. Three hundred have 16A electricity, but those nearer the sea are without electricity. For those wishing to learn to surf there is an on-site surf school. Dogs are not accepted.
There are plenty of organised on-site activities and entertainment for all the family, mostly in high season. For those wishing to relax, there is a sun terrace near the Bistro and games room with wonderful views over St Ives Bay. The size of the site makes some walking inevitable, although there is a car park close to the beach. One could spend the whole holiday on site, however this beautiful area of Cornwall is well worth exploring.
