Alan Rogers Review of Springwater Lakes
Set in 20 acres of Welsh countryside, Springwater offers a selection of fishing lakes to keep even the keenest of anglers occupied. However, it is not just anglers who will enjoy this site – it is a lovely base to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this part of Wales. Springwater offers 40 spacious, flat pitches either on grass or 30 gravel hardstanding, all with 16A electricity and ten fully serviced pitches, plus ten tent pitches. Malcolm and Shirley Bexon are very proud of their site and welcome all visitors with a smile. This is not a site for children unless they enjoy fishing (no play areas). If you want to learn about fishing, Malcolm or Mark will be happy to help.
While Springwater Lakes focuses on fishing, the site is also suitable for those who just want to get away from it all. The fishing lakes are off the approach road and the pitches are neatly laid out with ample space in between. The owners are passionate about their site and are constantly upgrading the facilities.
Facilities at Springwater Lakes
The heated toilet block is very clean and includes accessible facilities(there is also wheelchair access to the lakes for fishing). Fishing. Tackle/bait shop (also sells ice-creams and confectionery). Free WiFi around shop.
