Camping Solbakken is a seven-hectare naturist campsite bordering Isefjorden in Zealand, some 50 km. west of Copenhagen. A former apple orchard, it is divided into two areas, each with up to 50 touring pitches. These are mainly on level grass, with electricity and an open aspect. There are also seven cabins to rent. Campers have direct private access, via a pathway, down to the fjord and jetty. Swimming and rafting are very popular in warm weather as are low-key themed evenings and daytime games. There is a small kiosk and bakery on-site, and a larger supermarket is within walking distance. Naturism obligatory (weather dependant).

The area is suitable for cycling with many routes passing close to Neolithic burial mounds. The small island of Orø, in the middle of the fjord, is ideal for a cycling tour using the regular ferry crossings. Within 25 km. many museums are covering the recent industrial times back to the stone age, a Baroque-style palace, Viking ships and theme parks. There is something for all ages and all tastes.

Directions to Solbakken Camping (Naturist)

2 km. south of Kirke Hyllinge, exit from road 53 and turn west following signs to Naturist Camping. Then follow signs to Solbakken Camping.
