Seaview is a member of the Park Holidays group and can be found at Swalecliffe close to England’s oyster capital, Whitstable. The site is close to the beach with some great views and direct access to the coastal footpath. Amenities are centred on the recently refurbished clubhouse and entertainment complex. A new lido-style swimming pool has been added. Pitches here are generally grassy and of a good size, most with electricity connections. This is a lively site in peak season with regular evening entertainment and a children’s club (5-14 years).

Whitstable pre-dates the Domesday Book and its distinctive character has been popular with holidaymakers for over 200 years. Its maritime heritage is celebrated with the annual oyster festival, which is held in July every year. Canterbury is just eight miles to the south and is, of course, one of England’s best loved cities. Its majestic cathedral dates back to 597 AD and, with the ruins of Saint Augustine’s Abbey, is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Entering Whitstable at The Long Reach public house roundabout take second exit onto Thanet Way (A2990). At next roundabout exit onto Thanet Way (Chestfield, Swalecliffe, A2990). At next roundabout take first exit onto Herne Bay Road (Whitstable), then turn right onto St John’s Road (B2205) to site on left.
