Alan Rogers Review of Rosguill Holiday Park
Rosguill Holiday Park is a quiet, family-owned park on a stunning peninsula on the rugged and beautiful North West Donegal coast. It is surrounded by six long, clean, sandy beaches within walking distance and several other beaches nearby in Downings. It is no wonder that this part of Donegal is fast becoming one of Ireland's best locations for water sports and outdoor activities.
Privately owned mobile homes predominantly occupy the site but offer 26 touring pitches, 12 of which have concrete hardstanding, 10A electricity and water; the remainder are on grass without services. Every pitch on the park affords a view of Mulroy Bay and the surrounding rugged, varied scenery. An onsite café offers various ice creams, freshly brewed coffee, soft drinks & cakes. Nestled amidst breathtaking scenery, the idyllic beaches of Tra na Rossan and Murder Hole lie just a stone's throw from the site, providing an ideal haven for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking tranquillity.
Whether you're an avid walker, into water sports or a photography enthusiast, or simply seeking a day of sun-soaked relaxation, this picturesque location offers something for everyone. It is little wonder that this site is popular with tourists. The stunning landscape provides an excellent backdrop to a glass of wine, a tasty barbecue after a hard day relaxing on one of the many beaches, or sightseeing along the stunning 11 km. ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ coastline.
