Rosenfelder Strand is a beautiful campsite high above the East Sea beaches. The site has its own sandy beach in a sheltered area, making it safe for children to bathe. The level pitches (some hardstanding) are marked and numbered, and vary in size from 100-140 sq.m. A significant number are fully serviced. The rural location of this site ensures a quiet holiday, the only sounds being birds and the rushing of the sea. Rosenfelder Strand offers many opportunities for an active holiday as well opportunities for riding, watersports and biking.
Being close to the East Sea and the tourist Island of Fehmarn, this area of Germany has a lot to offer the holidaymaker. Tours to cities such as Lübeck (an old Hanseatic city famous for its marzipan) or even Hamburg, make good day out. In addition, there are several music festivals, and open-air theatre such as the Karl May Festspiele. You might even like a boat trip to one of the Danish towns just across the border.
