Alan Rogers Review of Riverside Touring Park
This is a delightful, peaceful, eight-acre site owned and operated by the Morris Leisure Group. It is set just a few minutes’ walk away from the beautiful village of Betws-y-Coed, a perfect location to visit the stunning Snowdonia National Park. Betws-y-Coed is widely acclaimed as one of the most attractive villages in Great Britain.
There are a total of 120 spacious pitches, 61 for mobile homes and 59 for tourers (all hardstanding; 20 are super pitches and there are a few grass tent pitches). All have 16 amp electricity and digital TV. The area has something for everyone – sportsmen, anglers, walkers, nature lovers and families. Listen for the owls hunting at night. The site is adjacent to the railway station, hence some train noise is inevitable.
Betws-y-Coed is popular with tourists with its range of shops, restaurants, pubs and variety of local tourist attractions. Betws-y-Coed has built on an outstanding international reputation as an attractive village in its own right. The site is in close proximity to the lakes, mountains and narrow gauge railway as well as other historic reminders of its heritage and colourful past.
The site is a member of the Caravan Club affiliated scheme but non-members are also very welcome.
