Rigg Farm Caravan Park is close to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. The site consists of thirty static caravan holiday homes and nine touring pitches; all the statics are privately owned. The site has been developed to attract those who appreciate the peace and tranquillity of this outstanding area of the North Yorkshire coastline. Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Goathland, and Grosmont (a bygone era of working steam trains) are all but a 10-20 minute drive away.

The pitches are spread over two sites and offer beautiful views of both Whitby Abbey and the North Sea. A short walk onto the Moors themselves allows guests even more spectacular views across Whitby Bay and beyond.

Why not get active during your holiday in Yorkshire? If you are heading out into the North York Moors National Park, you can go walking or cycling, or maybe you would rather try fell running or road running. Or how about horse riding? Want to hit the water? Go canoeing, sea kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, surfing, or swimming – either in open water or in swimming pools. There are also many opportunities to go fishing in the area, while keen golfers will discover a variety of public courses where they can hone their game while on holiday.

Directions to Rigg Farm Caravan Park

From Whitby join the A171 towards Guisborough. At the first roundabout, take first exit onto B1416 signed Ruswarp. Continue on B1416 to Ruswarp and cross River Esk bridge. Now stay on B1416 until you reach Sneaton Thorpe Lane and turn left. Next turn left again at Raikes Lane and the site is on this road.
