Riddings Wood is an eco-friendly site set in 11 acres of woodland in the tranquil and idyllic Derbyshire countryside offering a quiet and relaxing retreat. Just a short distance from the Peak District, the site is the perfect location for enjoying walking, climbing, cycling, bird watching and fishing holidays. Riddings Wood offers the best of both worlds, being peacefully located in the countryside but with quick and easy access to Derby, Nottingham and Mansfield. It has 26 hard standing pitches – 10 fully serviced pitches and 16 hard standing pitches with 16 amp electricity. And 10 fully serviced pitches including water and a grey waste point on a 16amp electricity. All pitches offer a grass area for awnings and 10amp electric hook-up points. 60 Grass pitches with 10amp electric hook-up points are also available for touring and camping. There is a luxury toilet block with showers and toilets including accessible facilities and a utility room with washing and laundry facilities.

Directions to Riddings Wood Holiday Park

From the South (Derby) follow the A38 and take the A610 exit for Ripley, continue on the A610 before turning left onto Brittain Drive just past the car superstore. Turn right into High Holborn Road and follow the road and at the end of the road turn left into Alfreton Road/Codnor Lane/Newlands Road. Take a right onto South Street (B6016) towards Selston. Follow the B6016 (Bullock Lane) to the right and Riddings Wood is on the left-hand side. From the North (Mansfield) take the exit for Alfreton/Somercotes B600, turn left onto the B600 and continue through two roundabouts, before turning right at the third roundabout onto High Street B6016 for Swanwick. Continue before turning left at the Co-Op Supermarket onto Greenhill Lane. Turn left onto South Street (B6016) towards Selston. Follow the B6016 (Bullock Lane) to the right and Riddings Wood is on the left-hand side.
