Attractively situated between a tree-covered hill and the B64 road, this is a well run site with a stream running through the middle, with plenty of trees but little shade. It has 400 level pitches of which 250 are for touring units, most with 10A electricity. They are all well marked and easily accessible, divided into long- and short-stay areas and a section for those with animals. The site provides good amenities for both summer walkers and winter skiers. On the edge of the Harz area, you can exploring the twisty and busy roads of the main resort towns or participate in one of the organised walks.

The pretty, old town is a 15 minute stroll. Some road noise is possible, mainly affecting the overnight area.

From autobahn A7 (E45), leave at Seesen, then road 64 to Bad Gandersheim. Site is on right, 2 km. before town and is signed as a no through road to the right.
