Recreatiepark Het Winkel is a friendly family campsite in the middle of unspoilt countryside, surrounded by woodland in the Achterhoek region. The generous pitches (100 for touring) are serviced with 10A electricity, water and drain. Some meadow areas (without electricity) are only used for tents. Eight chalets are available to rent. There are large open spaces for leisure and sporting activities and a wide range of facilities for all the family. Cycling, running and walking routes start from the site. The Achterhoek region has the most extensive network of cycle paths in the Netherlands.

The site provides a wide variety of sporting opportunities and in the high season there is an activity programme for children of all ages. There are many interesting places to visit nearby such as Erve Brookert which is a picturesque, historic building from 1875, originally a farmhouse, hayloft and klompenhuis where clogs were made, and now is open to the public, with a tea garden (limited opening).

Directions to Recreatiepark Het Winkel

Site is 60 km. east of Arnhem close to the border with Germany. From Winterswijk take N319 southeast for 2 km. then turn right onto De Slingeweg. Site is on outskirts of Winterswijk Brinkheurne.
