Recreation Park De Koornmolen is located near the vibrant cities of Rotterdam, Gouda, and Zoetermeer. This peaceful campsite is a perfect base for exploring the picturesque Rottemeren Nature Reserve and the extensive network of cycling paths in the Green Heart region. The site has 130 pitches, of which 28 are for touring units, and have a 6/16-amp hook-up point. There are 20 accommodation units available for rent. Spacious camping pitches, each surrounded by greenery, offer ample privacy. For even more seclusion, consider renting a comfort pitch. 

Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by our friendly reception staff. The park features a shared reception for both the campsite and the adjoining bungalow park and a refreshing swimming pool managed by Het Zweminstituut. As a guest, you'll enjoy complimentary access to the pool. For convenient dining, Taverne 't Middelpunt serves various meals, or you can cook up a feast with barbecue or gourmet packages delivered directly to your accommodation. Enjoy fresh bread from the campsite during the high season, and for grocery needs, the nearest supermarket is in Zevenhuizen. De Koornmolen offers plenty of recreation opportunities. The BeweegpuntBas sports centre (fee-based) provides various fitness options, and you can rent bikes to explore the surrounding area. Children will be entertained by the campsite's entertainment team and mini club during the high season, or they can enjoy the goat meadow and playground.

Venture beyond the campsite to discover the many attractions of the region. Rotterdam boasts the Plaswijckpark, a family-friendly destination with playgrounds, zoos, and picnic areas. For a more traditional zoo experience, visit Diergaarde Blijdorp. If you're up for a day trip, explore The Hague or visit the popular theme parks Drievliet or Madurodam.

Directions to Recreatiepark De Koornmolen

From the A20 take exit 17-Nieuwerkerk aan den Ijssel. Next join the N219 towards Nieuwerkerk aan den Ijssel. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Schielandweg N219. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Eerste Tochtweg N219. Continue to follow N219. At the roundabout, take the exit onto Zuidplasweg. Go through 1 roundabout and continue onto Burgemeester Klinkhamerweg. At the fire station turn left into Tweemans Polder. After about 1 km on the right is the entrance to De Koornmolen.
