Alan Rogers Review
RCN Vakantiepark de Flaasbloem is a large, friendly and quiet campsite set well out in the countryside. It would suit those who prefer to stay in a rural environment, on a site providing very good facilities to keep children busy and happy. The level touring pitches are set on grass among hedges and tall trees, and all have 10A electricity. They are spacious and shady, with several more open, landscaped pitches on grassy fields. The Wildenberg is a generous, vehicle-free area for tents with three Finnish huts.
The restaurant has an extensive menu and boasts an atmospheric indoor garden, creating a very pleasant dining environment. De Flaasbloem is located close to some dense forests, ideal for exploring by bicycle. With its cathedral, the city of Breda is great for those who enjoy a shopping trip, but the ancient Belgian city of Antwerp, less than an hour’s drive away, is perhaps a bigger draw.
Good sanitary facilities, including those for disabled visitors. Launderette. Supermarket, bar, snack bar and bakery, restaurant with indoor garden (all open all season). Small covered pool, outdoor children’s pool with water games, recreational lake. Games room. Library. Several play areas. Mini train around the site. Multisports terrain. Tennis. Children’s farm. Bicycle and go-kart hire. WiFi (free).
